Amy Winehouse played the devoted daughter for her ailing father on Thursday – making a late-night hospital dash to serve her dad some homemade chicken soup.

Taxi driver-turned-jazz singer Mitch Winehouse was forced to pull out of a concert in Scotland on Monday after becoming ill with suspected food poisoning during a vacation.

It turned out to to be gallstones, and the Rehab singer paid a visit to her father to provide him with some comfort food as he recovers in hospital.

It is believed Mitch will undergo keyhole surgery to remove the gallstones at the weekend.

Mitch’s rep says, “He’s making a swift recovery and will be back on his feet and hopefully continuing with his shows in a few weeks.”
