Wrestler Ultimate Warrior Dies At 54

Professional wrestler Ultimate Warrior has died at the age of 54.
The wrestler, who was born James Hellwig and legally changed his name to Warrior, collapsed outside a hotel in Arizona on Tuesday and was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to TMZ.com.
Hellwig, who began his wrestling career in 1987, was inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment Inc (WWE) Hall of Fame at the weekend.
A statement posted on the WWE website reads, “WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior… We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family, friends and fans.”
The cause of death was not known as WENN went to press.
