Smashing Pumpkins’ Manila Gig Halted By Torrential Rain

Rockers Smashing Pumpkins have postponed their show in Manila, Philippines on Tuesday night due to heavy rainfall and floods.
The capital city has been struck by torrential downpour so the band and its management decided to call off a planned gig at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for health and safety reasons.

Joss Stone Trial Postponed

The trial of two men accused of planning an attack on British singer Joss Stone has been postponed until next year.
Junior Bradshaw, 31, and 34-year-old Kevin Liverpool were arrested near the soul star’s countryside home in Devon, England in June 2011 over an alleged plot to harm and rob Stone.
