James Bond will open the 2012 London Olympics as part of a film shot at Buckingham Palace.
The Queen allowed filmmaker and Games director Danny Boyle and 007 Daniel Craig access to her home for the short, which will kick-start the celebrations that will launch the sporting event in June.

In the film, Bond will discover he has been selected to open the Olympic Games and he will pick up a helicopter in the grounds of Buckingham Palace and parachute into the Olympic stadium in Stratford, London.
