Actor Alec Baldwin has defended his actions amid allegations he punched a New York City photographer during an altercation on Tuesday morning.
The 30 Rock star was leaving a courthouse with his fiancee Hilaria Thomas after reportedly obtaining a marriage license when he allegedly tackled New York Daily News staff snapper Marcus Santos.
Reports suggest Baldwin charged at the paparazzo, accusing him of invading his personal space, and Santos has since told that the actor shoved and punched him “one time, right in the chin.”
Baldwin has since taken to his account to share his side of the story, insisting he was just defending himself.
He writes, “A photographer almost hit me in the face with his camera this morning.”
