Amy Winehouse’s filmmaker boyfriend Reg Traviss has been charged with rape.
The British director, who was dating Winehouse at the time of her death last summer, is accused of sexually assaulting the alleged victim between 29 December and 1 January.
The incident was reported to London police on 18 January and Traviss was arrested on 5 April.
He is now facing two counts of rape and has been ordered to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London on 17 July – one week before the first anniversary of Winehouse’s passing.
