Angelina Jolie’s son Maddox has followed in his mum’s famously inked footsteps by getting his first tattoo.
The 44-year-old actress has an extensive body art collection, which she has previously confessed her children are obsessed with. And in a chat with Entertainment Tonight at Wednesday’s (09Oct19) premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in London, England, the actress revealed her son Maddox – who has recently left home for university in South Korea – has got his first inking.
“He got tattooed,” revealed the actress, as she praised the 18-year-old who couldn’t attend the event alongside his adopted siblings.
“I’m so happy for him that (Maddox has) grown up into such a good man,” she gushed. “I say that ’cause he’s smart and he’s doing his work but he’s also wild. He’s balanced in his teenage years.”
The Lara Croft: Tomb Raider star, who stunned in a silver, tulle, custom Ralph & Russo gown, was joined at the event by four of her children – 14-year-old Zahara, 13-year-old Shiloh, and 11-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – and admitted it was comforting to have them by her side.
“It would be quite lonely if I was doing it all by myself,” she confessed. “It’s never fun to focus on yourself anyway. When you’re all taking care of each other and you’re making a game out of it and being silly, it’s nice for me as a mom. It’s moments.”
Jolie continued: “I’m also watching my kids grow up and watching my daughter put on a beautiful dress and figure out the right heels and all that mom stuff. It just means a lot.”
Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil hits theaters 18 October.
