Liam Gallagher’s new band Beady Eye made its TV debut in the same venue his heroes The Beatles first wowed American television audiences in 1964.
The former Oasis frontman and his five-piece band performed a tight 45-minute set, beginning with Four-Letter Word, at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York.

The gig was featured on a The Late Show with David Letterman webcast on Wednesday evening, before the band took to the stage for Letterman’s late-night TV show to perform their hit The Roller.

The group is in the middle of its first U.S. tour.
