Liam Gallagher has quashed speculation his band Beady Eye will play at this year’s Hop Farm Music Festival in the UK.
The British rockers were rumored to be lined up for a slot on the bill at the summer event, alongside acts including Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel, Patti Smith and Primal Scream.
But Gallager has rubbished the speculation, posting on his page, “The mighty beady eye will not be performing at hop farm this year LG x”
The band has only one show confirmed for the summer festival season – their support slot at one of the Stone Roses’ hotly-anticipated comeback shows in Manchester’s Heaton Park in June.
