Acting veteran Sir Ben Kingsley showed off his singing skills on British TV on Saturday night by serenading fans with a version of What A Wonderful World in honour of his newly-married son.
The Ghandi star appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show in his native U.K. and opened up about his love of music.
He also revealed that his son Edmund, who is also an actor, recently walked down the aisle, and that Louis Armstrong’s feel-good classic was played at the ceremony.
He told Ross, “My son Edmund was married recently and I’ve acquired the most wonderful daughter-in-law and part of their wedding service was this song which Louis Armstrong made famous called It’s A Wonderful World and we all sang it at the wedding and that’s why I want to sing it – to bless them in their new marriage.”
Kingsley finished off his appearance on the programme by taking to the mic and singing the track in honour of the newlyweds.
