Producer/singer Boots has recruited his pal Beyonce to sing on a new charity single, which unexpectedly went on sale on Tuesday.
Boots, who served as a co-writer and co-producer on the singer’s surprise Beyonce record last year, revealed the final track of his Winter Spring Summer Fall mixtape – a duet with the superstar titled Dreams.
The producer shared the track on his page, and said that profits from iTunes sales will go towards Day One, a charity whose mission is to stop teen dating violence.
Boots, real name Jordy Asher, praises Beyonce’s talents and friendship, telling Vogue, “I love that the song has me and what I’m doing in my realm and her and what she’s doing in hers, and it’s so completely opposite but they work incredibly together.”
