Beyonce is reportedly set to delight millions of football fans next year after agreeing to play the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The Single Ladies hitmaker will take the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on 3 February for the mid-game spectacular, according to multiple reports.
If the rumors are true, Beyonce will follow in the footsteps of Madonna, who had the honor of performing at the National Football League championship game earlier this year.
And it won’t be the Grammy winner’s first Super Bowl appearance – she sang the National Anthem in 2004 when the New England Patriots played the Carolina Panthers in her native Houston, Texas. That year’s half-time show went down in infamy when Janet Jackson suffered a wardrobe malfunction onstage and exposed a breast as 145 million viewers watched.
