A representative for Beyonce has shot down bizarre rumors suggesting the R&B superstar is wearing a prosthetic baby bump after her bulging stomach appeared to briefly deflate during an interview on Australian TV.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker, who revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, recently taped a chat for Sunday Night HD and the footage aired Down Under at the weekend.

But the interview made headlines for all the wrong reasons within hours of its broadcast as it appeared Beyonce’s baby bump had folded in on itself as she sat down for the TV discussion.

The clip has sent gossip bloggers into overdrive and many have suggested the singer and Jay-Z have actually chosen a surrogate mother, and are faking the pregnancy until the tot is born in February.

But Beyonce’s publicist has dismissed the crazy claims, telling the rumors are all “foolish”.

The expectant star has been gushing about her pregnancy joy, and recently said, “If it’s any time, right now is the time. I’m so happy. It already has changed my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years. All of my 20s, since I was 20. I just felt like it’s time. I’m very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human being can have.”
