Plans for pop star Justin Bieber to meet Israel’s Prime Minister have been scrapped over Middle East politics.
The Baby singer had planned to meet with Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of his Tel Aviv concert on Thursday, but now it appears the Prime Minister has no time for the Canadian.

Full details of the reasons for the cancellation have not been revealed.

A spokesman for Netanyahu has revealed the Israeli leader had hoped to introduce Bieber to some of his young fans at the meeting.

It seems Bieber understands the politics behind the decision to scrap the get together – in a tweet to fans, in which he complained about the ever-present paparazzi in Israel that have made his sightseeing efforts a nightmare, he wrote, “I want to see this country and all the places ive dreamed of and whether its the paps or being pulled into politics its been frustrating.

“You would think paparazzi would have some respect in holy places.”
