Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle gave the performance of her life when she sang traditional hymns for the Pope upon his visit to Glasgow, Scotland on Thursday.
The talent show superstar, a devout Catholic, was thrilled after being asked to perform during Pope Benedict XVI’s open-air mass, hailing the invite as her “greatest dream come true”.

And she put on a spectacular show for the pontiff, singing her trademark I Dreamed A Dream before belting out her own renditions of Christian hymns Make Me a Channel of Your Peace and How Great Thou Art for the 65,000-strong crowd at the city’s Bellahouston Park.
