Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera and Sting are among the stars who have signed up to headline a telethon to raise money for residents affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Billy Joel and Jon Bon Jovi, whose family was caught in the storm as it hit New York on Monday, will also feature on the Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together Benefit on Friday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
TV journalist Matt Lauer will present the show and all donations will go towards The American Red Cross relief efforts in the wake of the disaster.
The hurricane lashed the Caribbean last week before heading north for America’s East Coast. It was downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone on Monday, but still brought chaos to New York, New Jersey and North Carolina, leaving millions without power and killing an estimated 146 residents.
