Carey And Cannon Visit Luther King Memorial

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon took time out of their visit to Washington, D.C. for the BET Honors over the weekend to visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial ahead of the holiday named in his honor.
Rapper/TV presenter Cannon made his comeback at the glitzy ceremony after a stint in hospital for acute kidney failure, and the couple made their most of their weekend by paying their respects to the civil rights leader.

They visited the recently unveiled Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and Cannon tweeted a picture of the pair posing in front of the Stone of Hope, a monument which feature’s King’s likeness.

He wrote, “My wife and I Mariah Carey had the honor to visit the Dr. King monument for the holiday.”

The U.S. celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday.
