Charli XCX & Lorde Lead Britain’s NME Awards Nominees

Pop stars Charli Xcx and Lorde hope to make the 2018 NME Awards a big night for women after leading all nominations.
The two singers are both up for Best Track for Boys and Green Light, respectively, while Lorde will also compete for Best International Solo Artist, Best Live Act, and Best Album (Melodrama), and Charli XCX is up for Best British Solo Artist, Best Mixtape, and Best Video (Boys).
Meanwhile, the coveted Best British Band title will be a battle between Alt-J, Kasabian, Wolf Alice, The 1975, The xx, and Bastille.
The awards will be handed out at a ceremony in London on 14 February.
