Singer Chris Brown’s concerts in Canada have been cancelled due to health and legal issues.
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker was scheduled to perform four shows in Canada this summer, but he has decided to cancel the performances because of his latest troubles.
On Friday, Brown’s probation stemming from his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna was reinstated by a Los Angeles judge and he was ordered to completed 1,000 hours of community service by 2014.
The singer’s probation had been revoked last month after he was charged in an alleged May hit-and-run traffic accident, which could have led to a probation violation and possible jail time. A prosecutor agreed to withdraw a request to rescind Brown’s probation after the alleged hit-and-run charge was dismissed.
Earlier this month, Brown suffered a health scare attributed to “intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity,” according to his representative.
