George Clooney has been arrested in Washington, D.C. at a protest outside the Sudanese embassy.
The Hollywood star gave a speech on the steps of the building on Friday before joining protesters but was seized after he ignored three warnings from cops to leave the area.

The events were confirmed by campaign group Enough Project

The Descendants star made a secret trip to newly-independent South Sudan last week to gather information about the country’s feud with neighbouring Sudan ahead of his appearance before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.
