Chris Martin led thousands of Coldplay fans in a rendition of Amy Winehouse’s hit track Rehab at a festival in Australia at the weekend in honour of the tragic star.
The British soul singer was found dead in her London home on 23 July and musicians including Mark Ronson, Adele and Lady Gaga have paid their respects to Winehouse.

Coldplay added their own personal tribute during their set at the Splendour In The Grass event in Queensland on Sunday.

Martin sang a line of Rehab during the intro to their own song Fix You, and the band later told fans of their sadness at the singer’s death.

In a statement, they say, “There’s little that can be said about Amy Winehouse’s passing that hasn’t already been said. It’s just such a sad waste.”
