Artie Lange is “seven months sober” following a stint in rehab earlier this year.
The 51-year-old comedian was ordered to attend a six-month drug treatment program in March, after testing positive for cocaine twice in two months.
And taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the star revealed the treatment was a success, writing alongside a snap of himself: “Great to be home!
“7 months 14 days sober but one day at a time. Lots of new stories to tell. Will announce some new tour dates on Friday. Thanks for the support. Love you all.”
Fans were quick to praise the star for taking control of his addiction, telling him he looks “amazing” after losing a significant amount of weight and lauding him as an “inspiration”.
The funnyman is currently serving four years’ probation for cocaine possession, for which he was sentenced back in 2018.
