Director Steven Soderbergh has settled a paternity lawsuit filed by an Australian graduate film student.
Frances Lawrencina Anderson fell pregnant in 2009 after a fling with the Ocean’s Eleven filmmaker and recently took legal action against the star in order to receive child support payments for the baby girl she gave birth to last August.

Soderbergh’s lawyer, Bernard Clair, reveals the two reached an “amicable” agreement on Wednesday, although the details of the settlement will remain confidential.

Clair tells the New York Post, “Both parties preserved their integrity.”

Soderbergh, 48, is currently married to writer/journalist Jules Asner and has a daughter with his first wife Betsy Brantley.
