Rapper Dr. Dre has launched a $3 million lawsuit against executives at his former label Death Row Records over unpaid royalties.
In court papers filed in Los Angeles in December, the California Love hitmaker claimed he was owed $676,400 for unpaid mechanical royalties, $1.2 million in unpaid artist/producer royalties and $1.2 million in digital sales of his music.
He also alleges there are inconsistencies pertaining to payments he has received and he claims the executives have yet to honor a bonus, which would increase his album sales revenues from 18 to 20 per cent, according to RadarOnline.com.
