Drake Leading The Charge At JUNO Awards With Six Nominations

Rap sensation Drake looks set to dominate his native Canada’s 2011 JUNO Awards after landing six leading nominations.
The Forever hitmaker is in the running for Songwriter of the Year, while his debut disc Thank Me Later will battle against Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0 and Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs for Album of the Year.

Teenage pop star Bieber will also go head-to-head with Drake for the Artist of the Year and JUNO Fan Choice honors.

Meanwhile, Drake is nominated for Single of the Year and Rap Recording of the Year for the track Find Your Love.

Other multiple nominees include rockers Arcade Fire with five mentions, while Bieber, Broken Social Scene, Johnny Reid and Hedley are all up for four awards.

Neil Young will be honored with the 2011 Allan Waters Humanitarian Award at annual event, which will take place on 26 March.
