Prince William officially registered the birth of his son Prince George on Friday.
The British royal and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, became first-time parents last month when they welcomed a son named George Alexander Louis, and he made the tot’s name official by filing a birth certificate to register him with authorities.
A picture of the form, signed by William in London on Friday morning, has emerged online and it lists the couple’s occupations as ‘Prince and Princess of the U.K.’
The registrar who oversaw the recording of the birth described the duty as a “great pleasure,” adding, “We registered the birth of the Queen and Prince Charles and Princes William and Harry so it’s great to see that tradition continue.”
