Ella Mai, Ariana Grande & Taylor Swift Early Double Winners At IHeartRadio Music Awards

Ella Mai, Imagine Dragons, Panic! At The Disco, Taylor Swift, and Bebe Rexha were among the early winners at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday evening (13Mar19).
Ella Mai was a double winner before the ceremony officially started as she picked up the Best R&B Artist and Song of the Year prize for Boo’d Up on the red carpet, while Imagine Dragons were named Alternative Rock Artist of the Year and Most Thumbed-Up Artist of the Year, and Ariana Grande scored the Female Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year gongs.
There were also big wins for two of last year’s crossover hits, The Middle and Meant to Be – Maren Morris, Zedd and Grey picked up the Dance Song of the Year honor for The Middle, while Rexha and Florida Georgia Line took home the Country Song of the Year for Meant To Be.
Panic! At the Disco also claimed an early double with the night’s Alternative Rock Song of the Year for High Hopes and Alternative Rock Album of the Year for Pray for the Wicked, and Taylor Swift landed the Best Video honor for Delicate and Tour of the Year. Camila Cabello snagged the Best Lyrics award for Consequences, while Kacey Musgraves and Harry Styles’ You’re Still the One was named Best Cover Song.
Rapper T-Pain is hosting this year’s event at the Mircosoft Theater.
