Eminem And Rihanna Storm U.S. Charts

Eminem and Rihanna have ended Katy Perry”s reign at the top of the U.S. pop charts.

Love the Way You Lie, the rapper’s collaboration with Rihanna, has taken over at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
It’s Eminem’s fourth number one and Rihanna’s seventh.

Perry’s California Gurls slips a spot to two on the new countdown, which will be released on Thursday (22Jul10).
Meanwhile, it’s another good week for Usher – his OMG remains in the top five at five and new release DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love scores the week’s highest debut at 19.

On the albums countdown, Eminem makes it a chart double at the top of the Billboard 200 – scoring a fourth week at number one with Recovery.

He holds off a charge from rockers Korn, who debut Korn III – Remember Who You Are at two.

Other new entries to the top 10 are Christian group Newsboy’s new release, Born Again, at four, Sting’s orchestral Symphonicities at six, country star Jerrod Niemann’s Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury at seven, supergroup Hellyeah’s Stampede at eight and Maya by M.I.A at nine.
