R&B star Faith Evans has moved swiftly to assure fans she is “fine and well” following her DUI arrest at the weekend.

The I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker was pulled over by traffic cops in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles on Saturday night and arrested for drink driving.

But, in a post on her Twitter.com blog on Sunday the hip-hop and R&B star assured fans she was unharmed in the incident – and she’s already back to work.

She writes, “I am on the set of my new video for my single Gone Already. I’m sure by now most of you heard that I was detained on suspicion of a DUI. After completing a full day of wardrobe prep, I was stopped at a random checkpoint. I’m fine and well, and thank you for your prayers, kind words and concerns.”

Evans failed to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding her arrest, or comment on reports she will be charged.
