British singer Lana Del Rey pulled out of a performance in Tokyo, Japan on Monday due to “exhaustion”.
The Video Games hitmaker had originally been booked to play the concert earlier this year, but it was subsequently postponed until this month.
However, representatives for the star announced the show would not be going ahead early on Monday and apologized for axing the gig once again.
The statement read: “It is with great regret Lana will not be performing in Tokyo today, she is suffering from exhaustion and the show had to be cancelled. Lana says, ‘I am really sorry to not have made it over to Japan again, I would love to be there to sing and look forward to performing a show that the fans deserve’.”
Del Rey has since reached out to fans on her Twitter.com blog and has promised to make it up to them at a later date.
She writes, “Wish I could be with everyone in Tokyo but I’m really sorry I am sick. Thinking of you and I will come back soon.”
