Faulty Helicopter Engine To Blame For Troy Gentry’s Death

The helicopter crash that claimed country star Troy Gentry’s life was caused by a faulty engine.
The Montgomery Gentry star was killed when the chopper crashed at an airfield in New Jersey on Friday, and now officials at the National Transportation Safety Board have issued their preliminary accident report.
The experts claim the pilot lost control of the helicopter, cut off the engine, and performed an autorotation – a standard correction procedure – as emergency vehicles gathered beneath the aircraft.
According to the accident report, obtained by TMZ, the pilot knew he was in troubled when he could see the individual rotor blades as the helicopter fell to the ground.
The NTSB officials claim Gentry was on board the chopper purely for pleasure.
