FERGIE will be the first woman to appear on the Super Bowl half-time stage since Janet Jackson’s infamous boob-revealing performance in 2004 – and she’s determined to keep it clean.
The Black Eyed Peas star will hit the stage during the big game on Sunday with her bandmates, Usher and Slash – and she doesn’t want a repeat of the fall-out following Jackson’s controversial wardrobe malfunction, when co-performer Justin Timberlake ripped open the singer’s top to reveal a sparkly breast.

Fergie says, “We wanna keep it clean fun. A little bit of sexual appeal is fine, just nothing that’s inappropriate… I’ve worn some pretty revealing costumes and things in videos, but it’ll be no good at the Super Bowl, fun for the whole family.”

Bandmate will.i.am insists, “We’ve never been known for that.”
