James Franco is hoping to connect with late author Tennessee Williams by hosting a staged seance.
The 127 Hours star will perform Three Artists in Search of Tennessee at New York City’s Performa arts festival on 13 November and as part of the play’s first act he’ll attempt to contact the tragic writer from beyond the grave via a Ouija board.

Audiences will then watch as actors audition for the roles of The Glass Menagerie’s lead characters Tom and Laura Wingfield in a bid to rile the “resurrected” Williams.
