Ailing star Zsa Zsa Gabor has called for a priest to receive her Last Rites after undergoing surgery on Saturday to remove blood clots from her upper body, according to her publicist.

The 93 year old was re-admitted to the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center on Friday with complications stemming from treatment she received after breaking her hip at her mansion in Bel-Air last month.

Gabor’s publicist John Blanchette tells the Associated Press the actress was in surgery for several hours on Saturday for the removal of the blood clots, one of them very close to her heart.

And the rep admits that the star is in a “serious condition” and called for a priest to come to her bedside on Sunday to read her her final rites.

Blanchette says, “Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has seen a priest and is not doing very well. She’s in serious condition. She asked to see a priest and receive her last rites.”

The surgery occurred the same day as the star’s 24th wedding anniversary to Prince Frederic von Anhalt.
