Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor is resting at home after she was discharged from hospital on Wednesday.

The actress has returned to her mansion in Bel-Air, California after checking out of the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt told the Associated Press Gabor was originally meant to spend just one week in doctors’ care but ended up staying for four weeks after a series of setbacks.

The 93 year old was hospitalized after breaking her hip on 17 July in a fall. She underwent hip-replacement surgery but her stay was extended after she suffered a bad reaction to morphine and later developed an infection.

Von Anhalt has reportedly purchased a special $25,000 hospital bed for Gabor to complete her recovery at home.
