Gaga’s YouTube Account Suspended Over Copyright Issues

Lady Gaga has fallen foul of’s strict copyright laws after footage from a Japanese TV show was posted online.
Fans visiting the site on Thursday were greeted with the message: “This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s Copyright Policy.”

According to Time Out Tokyo, the account was suspended because it featured footage from Gaga’s recent appearance on SMAP x SMAP.

The pop superstar even directed fans to the 10-minute footage, tweeting, “My performance+cooking show appearance on SMAP SMAP is airing now in Japan. Kawaii Monsters!”

The video features Gaga performing a medley of her hits with Japanese boy band SMAP.
