Singer Harry Styles has won a permanent injunction against a group of U.K. photographers.
The One Direction frontman filed his case in London’s High Court last year after a number of snappers failed to take heed of his personal requests for them to stop following him voluntarily, and on Monday, four photographers consented to the order of protection preventing them from chasing the singer by car or motorcycle, placing him under surveillance and waiting within a certain distance of his home to track his movements.
Although the injunction protects Styles from the overzealous shutterbugs, it still allows fans to approach the singer.
Meanwhile, efforts are being made to track down additional snappers involved and a judge has adjourned the case until next month.
Styles’ lawyer David Sherborne, says, “It will be clear whether we can identify those remaining individuals and progress proceedings, or instead bring this successful claim to an end, having achieved an end to the crazy pursuit of the claimant when he is not on official duties.”
