Actress Heather Locklear has dodged a felony domestic violence charge following her recent arrest.
The former Dynasty star was taken into custody on 25 February after clashing with her boyfriend, Christopher Heisser, and police officers who were called to investigate a disturbance at her home in Thousand Oaks, California.
She was handcuffed on suspicion of domestic violence, and booked for three further counts of battery on a peace officer after reportedly becoming belligerent with cops, and threatening to shoot them if they did not leave her property.
Locklear, who has a history of substance abuse, subsequently checked herself into a medical treatment facility, and on Monday, she landed a legal break after prosecutors chose not to press on with the domestic violence claims.
However, the 56-year-old has been slapped with four charges of misdemeanor battery on an officer, as well as one count of resisting or obstructing an officer, reports TMZ.com.
