R&B star Lauryn Hill was forced to postpone the first concert of her highly anticipated comeback tour on Monday due to heavy snowfall in New York.
The former Fugees frontwoman, who has only made a handful of live appearances over the last few years, was due to kick off her Winter 2011 trek at the Highline Ballroom in Manhattan but the gig was pushed back until February after a blizzard brought the Big Apple to a standstill.

The Doo Wop (That Thing) hitmaker managed to make it to Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday night to perform at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Hill isn’t the only star affected by the bad weather on the East Coast – singer Fantasia Barrino also called off her gig at New York City’s Beacon Theater on Monday.
