Actress Holly Robinson Peete has turned her prayers to those in Pennsylvania caught up in a building collapse tragedy on Wednesday.
The Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper star was left devastated after learning about a four-storey building that came crashing down on a Salvation Army store in downtown Philadelphia, where she was born.
Six people were killed and at least 14 others were injured in the accident, which occurred when the taller building was being demolished.
Peete took to her Twitter.com page to offer support to locals in the city, writing, “Prayers for my hometown… 6 dead, 13 hurt in Philadelphia building collapse.”
