Holly Valance’s Family Caught Up In Melbourne Earthquake

Australian singer Holly Valance reached out to her loved ones Down Under on Tuesday after Melbourne was rocked by an earthquake.
The pop star and actress, who is based in London, was stunned to hear of a 5.2-magnitude tremor in her home city and immediately turned to technology to get in touch with her sister and cousin in the country.
In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, “Sis BBM-ing (Blackberry messaging) from Melbourne. All phones, lights and net out. EARTHQUAKE!!!! From my cuz (cousin)… Things fell dn (down) & smashed & my bedroom wall is all cracked. Woolworths roof caved in, town pool has a chemical spill? And theres a fire at the paper mill. Scariest thing ever!”
Fellow Australian singer Gabriella Cilmi reached out to fans on the site to ask, “Was there just an earthquake in Melbourne?”, while cricketer Shane Warne ‏adds, “5.2 magnitude earthquake hits Melbourne, Australia; No casualties or damage reported – phew… Hope everyone is ok down there !!!”
