Dennis Hopper will be buried in the New Mexican town he fell in love with while filming his iconic movie Easy Rider, according to a report.
The actor shot parts of the classic road film in Taos, New Mexico in the late 1960s, and spent several years of the next decade living in the area.
Civic bosses in the state even marked the Hollywood legend’s 74th birthday on 17 May by declaring it Dennis Hopper Day.
And according to Entertainment Tonight, the star will be laid to rest in the sunny southern state on Wednesday.
Family and friends will be flown out from Los Angeles – where the actor lived in the later years of his life.
Hopper died on Saturday after a battle with prostate cancer. He was 74.
