Kate Hudson has explained why her son was recently spotted sporting a bandaged wrist – the actress insists the youngster isn’t hurt, he just thinks the dressing is “cool”.
Photographs of six-year-old Ryder, Hudson’s only child with ex-husband Chris Robinson, wearing a bandage sparked rumours he hadsuffered a nasty injury.
But Hudson admits her son is a master storyteller, who enjoys pretending to be injured.
She tells ETOnline, “The bandage is an interesting subject because it’s more of like a cool thing. He’s not hurt. It’s more like a prop for storytelling. He likes to make up really elaborate stories about how he hurt himself, which he didn’t do. And then he looks at me and he’s like, ‘See mom? They’re asking me about my splint.'”
