Paul Simon scrapped another gig on his U.K. tour on Tuesday after failing to recover in time for the performance.
The singer/songwriter fell ill before his set at Britain’s legendary Glastonbury festival on Sunday and struggled to perform to the best of his ability.

He was forced to cancel his gig in Bournemouth, England on Monday, with a notice telling fans that he had been struck down by a respiratory infection.

And on Tuesday he was due to play at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, but postponed the show on doctors’ orders.

A statement from Simon’s representative reads, “Paul Simon wishes to apologize profusely to all his fans for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to stress that he only has their best interests at heart and wants to deliver the best show possible.”

It is not yet known whether Simon will perform his next scheduled date in Birmingham, England on Thursday.
