The executors of Michael Jackson’s estate have issued a cease and desist letter to Katherine Jackson’s business partner Howard Mann, demanding he stop exploiting the King of Pop’s image.
The Thriller superstar’s mother teamed up with Mann for a variety of business ventures, including a coffee table book called Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives, which went on sale in June to mark the first anniversary of the singer’s death.

But Mann has come under attack for allegedly using Michael’s likeness on banners to promote the Unveiling of the Jackson Secret Vault Lithographic Collection event in Beverly Hills, California on Friday night, with Jackson family matriarch Katherine scheduled to make a personal appearance at the bash.

Estate executors John Branca and John McClain are unhappy with her involvement and on Wednesday, they fired off a legal notice to Mann to put a stop to the use of Michael’s image at the unauthorised event, reports TMZ.com.
