Veteran actor James Brolin has assured family friends and fans his son Josh and estranged daughter-in-law Diane Lane are doing “OK” in the wake of their marriage split.
The Hollywood stars, who wed in August, 2004, quietly parted ways late last year, but the news was not made public until last week.
It subsequently emerged that Lane had signed off on the divorce papers on Valentine’s Day, citing 13 February as the official date of separation. The petition was lodged in court on 15 February.
Neither Brolin nor The Perfect Storm star have commented on the split, but the actor’s dad James has now opened up about the pair’s marriage breakdown, telling People magazine, “Everything is mutual. It’s all OK… Josh is great. He’s doing fine. Everything is fine.”
Josh Brolin was introduced to Lane at a 2002 party by his stepmother, James’ wife Barbra Streisand.
