James Franco will show off his artistic talents at an exhibition in New York.
The actor, who took up painting as a high school student, will display his contemporary drawings, photography, short films and sculptures in the show, entitled The Dangerous Book Four Boys, at the Clocktower Gallery.

The exhibit, which opens on Wednesday, will delve into themes including boyhood and the “sexual confusion” of adolescence, according to curator Alanna Heiss.

One unusual work is said to explore a romantic encounter between Star Trek characters James T. Kirk and Spock.
