Beyonce’s new baby Blue Ivy has made her recording debut in a brand new song that suggests the pop superstar miscarried a previous child.
The tot, who was born on Saturday, appears on proud dad Jay-Z’s new track, Glory, which was posted on the rapper’s website LifeAndTimes.com on Monday. She’s credited as B.I.C.

Amid the birth celebration rhymes and claims that his little girl is his “greatest creation”, Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, shares a personal message to fans about a previously unspoken tragedy.

After revealing little Blue was “made in Paris,” Jay-Z rhymes, “Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you’d disappear but now baby you magic/So there you have it s**t happens/Just make sure the plane you on is bigger than you carry-on baggage/Everybody goes through stuff/Life is a gift love, open it up.”

The clever lyricist also pays tribute to his wife’s former band, adding, “You’re a child of Destiny, you’re the child of my destiny/You’re my child with the child from Destiny’s Child/That’s a hell of a recipe.”

The track ends with little Blue’s first cries.
