Angelina Jolie spent Sunday with African refugees in Italy as part of her latest official tour as ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
Jolie flew to the island of Lampedusa, which has been overwhelmed by refugees fleeing Tunisia and Libya in recent months.

The trip came days after the actress received special permission to visit Syrian refugees in Turkey.

The star is in Europe supporting partner Brad Pitt, who is shooting new film World War Z in Malta.
