Angelina Jolie took time out from her busy schedule to visit the headquarters of a landmine charity in Scotland over the weekend.
The actress and her partner Brad Pitt, as well as their six children, are currently residing in the country while Pitt films his new zombie movie World War Z.

And Jolie continued her commitment to philanthropy by visiting workers at the Halo Trust in Dumfriesshire to hear about their work removing landmines in war-torn areas.

Jolie says, “It was a privilege to visit the Halo headquarters and meet their committed staff. In the aftermath of war, Halo’s mine-clearing efforts are fundamental to a safe return and community building.”

Trust founder Guy Willoughby adds, “It was a great opportunity for us to talk through the projects and also plan our de-mining priorities for the future – identifying which communities in different countries are most in need of our support.”
